XHUQ-FM
XHUQ-FM is a radio station on 101.9 FM in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero. It is owned by Grupo Alfa Comunicaciones and is known as Variedades FM. History XEUQ-AM 960 received its concession on April 25, 1968, and signed on three days later. It was owned by José Barajas Barajas and broadcast with 1,000 watts. In 1979, José Mario and Armando Morales Vallejo bought XEUQ; the former became the sole concessionaire in 1997. In November 2010, XEUQ was cleared to move to FM as XHUQ-FM 101.9. The migration took place in 2011. In October 2016, a format switch moved the Ke Buena format, picked up just two months prior by XHZHO-FM 98.5, to XHUQ. The station had previously had the La Poderosa grupera format and picked up Los 40 Los 40 (The 40, stylized as LOS40 and formerly ''Los 40 Principales'', es, Los Cuarenta) is a Top 40 music radio network and radio station brand in many Spanish-speaking countries from PRISA Radio. XHZHO-FM is a radio station on 98.5 FM in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico. History XEZHO-AM 1410 received its concession on October 26, 1994. It was owned by Radio Fama, S.A. de C.V., broadcasting with 5,000 watts as a daytimer. Pegaso acquired XEZHO in 2002, not long after shuttering its Red W Interactiva Red W Interactiva was a talk radio network in Mexico that operated from October 22, 2001, to January 31, 2002. It was owned by Grupo Pegaso, headed by Alejandro Burillo Azcárraga. Zihuatanejo, Guerrero
Zihuatanejo (), or Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, is the fourth-largest city in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It was known by 18th century English mariners as Chequetan or Seguataneo. Politically the city belongs to the municipalities of Mexico, municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta in the western part of Guerrero, but both are commonly referred to as Zihuatanejo.
