XHTVH-FM is a radio station on 94.9 FM in Villahermosa, Tabasco, in Mexico. It is part of the state government's Radio and Television Commission (CORAT) and is known as Mega 94.9. XHTVH is relayed to XHTQE-FM 102.9 in Tenosique. History XHTVH began operations first, coming to life as part of seven-station FM permitawarded to the state government in 1992. XHTVH was the only one of the seven stations to make it to air and the most powerful of any of the stations permitted at that time. XHTQE received its permit in December 2011. XETVH-AM is a radio station on 1230 AM in Cunduacán, Tabasco, Mexico, serving Villahermosa. It is part of the state government's Radio and Television Commission (CORAT) and is known as La Radio de Tabasco. XETVH heads a four-station network of stations, two on AM and two on FM, with the same programming. History XETVH came to air in 1983 and XETQE in 1998. Villahermosa ( , ; "Beautiful Village") is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of Tabasco, and serves as the municipal seat (governing county) of the state. Tenosique, Tabasco
Tenosique is a town located in Tenosique Municipality in the southeastern corner of the state of Tabasco, in Mexico. Its official name is Tenosique de Pino Suárez. The town had a 2020 census population of 34,946 inhabitants (the fourth-largest community in the state after Villahermosa, Cárdenas, and Comalcalco), while the municipality had a population of 62,310. Tenosique's etymology: from the Maya words "Tana" or house and "tsiic" weaving or counting threads. Which leaves us with "casa de los hilanderos " or "House of Weavers or thread counters". Tenosique was founded c. 1000 B.C. in the Preclassic Maya Period (according to Magnolia Paz Nexo in her book ''Tenosique Prehispánico y Colonial'' edited by the Government of Tabasco).
