XHTPG-TDT (virtual channel 10) is a state-owned television station in Tepic, Nayarit, forming part of the Sistema de Radio y Televisión de Nayarit Nayarit (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit), is one of the 31 states that, along with Mexico City, comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. Branded on air as ''10 TV Nayarit'', XHTPG carries a variety of local and national cultural programs and other shows relevant to the state and government of Nayarit. XHTPG signed on in 1993 and began broadcasting in 2015. The state network was known as "La Señal de la Gente" and later "Tele 10" during the government of Roberto Sandoval Castañeda. In 2017, XHTPG received a new logo in the style of other state agencies under Governor Antonio Echevarría García. XEGNAY-AM
XEGNAY-AM is a radio station in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, owned by the state government of Nayarit. It is branded as Radio Nayarit and broadcasts a public and cultural radio format on 550 AM The following radio stations broadcast on AM frequency 550 kHz, which the Federal Communications Commission classifies as a regional frequency. Tepic () is the capital and largest city of the western Mexican state of Nayarit, as well as the seat of the Tepic Municipality. Located in the central part of the state, it stands at an altitude of above sea level, on the banks of the Río Mololoa and the Río Tepic, approximately north-west of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Nayarit (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit), is one of the 31 states that, along with Mexico City, comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided in 20 municipalities and its capital city is Tepic. It is bordered by the states of Sinaloa to the northwest, Durango to the north, Zacatecas to the northeast and Jalisco to the south. Roberto Sandoval Castañeda
Roberto Sandoval Castañeda (born 15 November 1969) is a Mexicans, Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party. From 2011 to 2017 he served as Governor of Nayarit. He also served as Municipal President of Tepic between 2008 and 2011. Known as "El Roberto", Governor Sandoval became one of the richest men in Nayarit, allegedly by embezzling state funds, extorting businesses, overseeing kidnapping for ransom, and closely collaborating with drug dealers. The United States Department of the Treasury declared Roberto Sandoval Castañeda and judge Isidro Avelar Gutiérrez "significant drug dealers" on May 17, 2019. Six other individuals and six corporations were similarly sanctioned. Sandoval Castañeda, his wife, his and children were banned from entering the United States on February 28, 2020 in Mexico, 2020. Antonio Echevarría García
Antonio Echevarría García is a Mexican businessman and politician who served as Governor of Nayarit from 2017 to 2021, and is affiliated with the National Action Party. Life Echevarría García, an accountant and alumnus of the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, has been involved in business since the age of 17. He became the director general of Grupo Álica, a diversified conglomerate with holdings in media, real estate, soft drinks and car dealerships, in 2013.
