XHNEZ-FM
XHNEZ-FM is a community radio station broadcasting to Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico on 97.3 FM. It is known as En Neza Radio and owned and operated by concessionaire Voces Urbanas, Movimiento Alternativo de Información Social (''Urban Voices, Alternative Social Information Movement''). History En Neza Radio has been operating in some or other form since 1996, with the goal of improving Neza's poor image in the media. In 2012, Voces Urbanas applied to Cofetel for a radio station permit; it was the second request the group had made, after an unfruitful 2004 application to the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation. In 2015, their application was denied by the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), which had replaced Cofetel. Voces Urbanas filed an '' amparo'' lawsuit against the IFT, which ended with a favorable ruling for the station. The IFT awarded the station's concession in July 2017, and XHNEZ-FM held its official inauguration on April 28, 2018. ...

Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl
Nezahualcóyotl (), or more commonly Neza, is a city and municipal seat of the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl in Mexico. It is located in the state of Mexico, adjacent to the east side of Mexico City. The municipality comprises its own intrastate region, Region IX (Mexico State). It was named after Nezahualcoyotl, the Acolhua poet and king of nearby Texcoco, which was built on the drained bed of Lake Texcoco. The name ''Nezahualcóyotl'' comes from Nahuatl, meaning "fasting coyote". Nezahualcóyotl's heraldry includes an Aztec glyph as well as a coat of arms. The glyph depicts the head of a coyote, tongue outside the mouth with a collar or necklace as a symbol of royalty (one of the ways of depicting the Aztec king). The current coat of arms, which includes the glyph, was authorized by the municipality in the 1990s. Until the 20th century, the land on which Ciudad Neza sits was under Lake Texcoco and uninhabited. Successful draining of the lake in the early 20th century ...

Radio Stations In The State Of Mexico
Radio is the technology of signaling and communicating using radio waves. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves of frequency between 30 hertz (Hz) and 300 gigahertz (GHz). They are generated by an electronic device called a transmitter connected to an antenna which radiates the waves, and received by another antenna connected to a radio receiver. Radio is very widely used in modern technology, in radio communication, radar, radio navigation, remote control, remote sensing, and other applications. In radio communication, used in radio and television broadcasting, cell phones, two-way radios, wireless networking, and satellite communication, among numerous other uses, radio waves are used to carry information across space from a transmitter to a receiver, by modulating the radio signal (impressing an information signal on the radio wave by varying some aspect of the wave) in the transmitter.
