Canal 6 (alternately known as Multimedios Televisión) is a network of Spanish language television stations primarily concentrated in northeastern Mexico and the southwestern United States. The system is part of Grupo Multimedios. The flagship station of Multimedios is XHAW-TDT located in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Programming features locally produced news, sports, children's shows and general mass appeal variety programming. On weekdays, the network produces around twenty hours of live daily programming, with lesser amounts during the weekends and holidays. Throughout its broadcast week, the network produces 58 hours of news programming per week under the branding of ''Telediario'', including a Sunday night public affairs program, ''Cambios''. Saltillo () is the capital and largest city of the northeastern Mexican state of Coahuila and is also the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. Mexico City, Monterrey, and Saltillo are all connected by a major railroad and highway. XHPNW-TDT
XHPNW-TDT is an independent television station in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. The station brands itself as Super Channel 12. History XHPNW received its concession on October 31, 1994, after Televisora Nacional, S.A. de C.V. was selected from among four bidders to operate the station. Televisora Nacional was owned by Arnoldo Cabada de la O, who owned TV stations in Ciudad Juárez and Mexicali. For most of its history after signing on in 1996, the station relayed the Azteca 7 network, which did not have a transmitter in Piedras Negras. However, in 2010, the station split from the network and began operation as a local independent under Súper Medios de Coahuila. As a result of the station being sold to Grupo Zócalo, which owns the newspaper of the same name in Saltillo and five FM radio stations in Piedras Negras, the station relaunched on August 24, 2015, signing on its digital station (RF channel 39) and beginning local programs in HD. Guadalupe, Nuevo León
Guadalupe is a city and surrounding municipality located in the state of Nuevo León, in northern Mexico. It is part of the Greater Monterrey Metropolitan area. The municipality of Guadalupe, which lies adjacent to the east side of Monterrey, also borders the municipalities of San Nicolás de los Garza, Apodaca, Pesquería, and Juárez. XHMH-TDT
XHMH-TDT is a television station in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. It broadcasts on virtual channel 13 and currently carries Multimedios Televisión programming. History XHMH-TV received its concession on June 16, 1977. It was owned by Pedro Meneses Hoyos, who was part of a pioneering family in Chihuahua broadcasting. The Meneses were involved in the foundation of XEJ and XEPM television in Ciudad Juárez. XHMH originally broadcast on channel 12 with an effective radiated power of 5,500 watts, but in the 1980s it moved to channel 13 and later raised its power to 85,000 watts. Canal 13 was transferred to Meneses's successor, Beatriz Molinar Fernández, after his death on May 5, 1998. After her death, the station passed to Pedro Luis Fitzmaurice Meneses. XHAUC-TDT (virtual channel 6) is a television station affiliated with Canal 6 (Mexico), Multimedios Televisión in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. The concession for the station is held by Telemisión, S.A. de C.V., a business of José de Jesús Partida Villanueva. It is co-owned with XHTX-TDT in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. Partida Villanueva also built XEJPV-AM in Ciudad Juárez. History XHAUC received its concession on November 15, 1991 but did not sign on until 1996. Telemisión's application beat out competing bids from eleven other applicants for the station. Until 2018, Televisa supplied programs to XHAUC, which broadcast local programs and Nueve (Mexican TV network), Nu9ve (formerly Gala TV) network programming.
