XHJC-FM
XHJC-FM is a radio station in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Broadcasting on 91.5 FM, XHJC carries the Exa FM national format from MVS Radio. History The station's concession was awarded in 1980 to José de Jesús Cortés y Barbosa. The first concept launched was Fórmula Melódica, also known as "Musicali". This lasted a year before the station relaunched with a pop music format under the name Sonido 91. XHVG-FM (Baja California)
XHVG-FM is a commercial radio station located in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Broadcasting on 103.3 FM, XHVG is owned by MVS Radio and airs a Regional Mexican music format known as "La Mejor". History XHVG came to the air in 1970, it was owned by Joaquín Vargas Gómez founder of MVS Radio, with the station carried the Stereorey format. In 2002 it was replaced by Best FM but continues to music in English. XHPF-FM is a radio station on 101.9 FM in Mexicali. The station is owned by MVS Radio and carries its FM Globo romantic format. History XHPF received its first concession on February 23, 1976. The original concessionaire was Frecuencia Modulada de Mexicali, S.A. XHPF had been among the last stations to carry the "FM Globo" name, which was used for decades by MVS. Grupo Imagen
Grupo Imagen is a Mexican media conglomerate, part of Grupo Empresarial Ángeles. History Grupo Imagen traces its roots to the foundation of XEDA-AM in June 1936. This station was acquired by José Luis Fernández Soto in 1962, and in the same year, Fernández Soto founded "Grupo Imagen Comunicación en Radio", which became the operator of XEDA-AM and XEDA-FM. In 1963, Grupo Imagen doubled in size with the acquisition of Radio Metropolitana and its XELA- AM- FM cluster. With these four stations, Grupo Imagen began to form a wide range of programming. While XEDA-FM remained Imagen's flagship with a talk format and XELA-AM continued with its longtime classical music programming, the other two stations changed programming concepts often.
