It is co-owned with the ''Tabasco Hoy'' newspaper. History The station's concession was awarded in 1992. Until 2014, the station was known as Conexión 90.9, later becoming Tabasco Hoy Radio. The Federal Telecommunications Institute ( Spanish: ''Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones''; abbreviated as IFT and incorrectly referred to as IFETEL) is an independent government agency of Mexico charged with the regulation of telecommunications and broadcasting services. It was formed on September 10, 2013, as part of larger reforms to Mexican telecom regulations, and replaced the Federal Telecommunications Commission (Cofetel). The current President of the IFT is Gabriel Oswaldo Contreras Saldívar. XHEMZ-FM is a radio station in Emiliano Zapata Municipality, Tabasco. It is owned by Grupo Cantón and carries a pop format known as Oye. History XHEMZ received its concession on August 4, 1992. It was owned by Celia María Rovirosa González and originally broadcast on 100.1 MHz. In 2007, the station was sold to José Gerardo Gaudiano Peralta, noteworthy for his operation of other stations in Tabasco such as XEHGR-AM Villahermosa. XHRTM-FM is a radio station on 99.5 FM in Macuspana, Tabasco Macuspana is a city in Macuspana Municipality in the south-central part of the state of Tabasco in southeastern Mexico. History XEPT-AM 620 received its concession on October 6, 1960, originally to be located at Ciudad Pemex. The call sign later changed to XERTM-AM.
