XHESL-FM
XHESL-FM is a radio station on 102.1 FM in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is owned by MG Radio and carries the Exa FM pop format. History XESL-AM 1340 received its concession on January 22, 1946. It was known as Radio San Luis and later as Radio Futurama. It was owned by Ceferino Z. Jiménez who also owned XECZ and XEPO. By the late 1980s, XESL had affiliated to OIR and was running a Spanish oldies format. This changed slightly in the mid-1990s, under new ownership. In 1999, XESL became grupera-formatted Cancionera 1340, a format it held until the mid-2000s with a one-month exception in 2002, when it carried the short-lived Red W Interactiva talk network. MG Radio took over the station in the mid-2000s and gave it another oldies format, known as Señal 1340 Golden Music. This left the air in 2010 to make way for the Romance format, moved from XHSS-FM. XHTL-FM is a radio station in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí. Broadcasting on 99.3 FM, XHTL is operated by MG Radio and carries its Adult Contemporary format of Más FM. XHSS-FM
XHSS-FM is a radio station on 91.9 FM in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí. It is owned by Grupo AS and carries its La Poderosa grupera format. History XHSS received its concession on November 28, 1988. It was owned by Radiorama through subsidiary Voz y Música, S.A., but was regularly farmed out to other radio groups. In 2002, MG Radio began operating the station with Romance, a romantic format. In early 2006, Radio S.A. tried its hand at running XHSS, placing its Máxima pop format on the station. MG Radio returned to XHSS in January 2008, restoring the Romance name and format; two years later, that moved to XESL-AM 1340 as Radiorama retook control of XHSS. The first format on the station after Radiorama took control was Xtrema, a pop format. On March 1, 2016, XHSS picked up the La Poderosa grupera format. XHOD-FM
XHOD-FM is a radio station on 96.9 FM in San Luis Potosí City, San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is owned by GlobalMedia. History XHOD received its concession on September 22, 1971; while it got its concession two days after XHOB-FM 96.1, it is considered the first FM radio station in the state. It was owned by María Estela Martínez. The original format was known as OD 96.9, Otra Dimensión en Radio. Within several years, station manager Elías Navarro Martínez had affiliated to MVS Radio and the station picked up its FM Globo romantic format. In San Luis Potosí, however, FM Globo mutated. XHOD became "Globo FM 96.9" and played as many as 70% songs in English, with a rock and pop-heavy format. In 2000, XHOD was converted to the new Exa FM format. 2009 saw the MVS stations in San Luis Potosí fall under the control of GlobalMedia.
