XHEPA-FM
XHEPA-FM/XEPA-AM is a radio station on 89.7 FM and 1010 AM in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. It carries the La Ke Buena regional Mexican format from Radiópolis. 1010 AM is a Canadian clear-channel frequency. History XEPA-AM 1010 received its concession on October 9, 1958. Salvador Martínez Aguirre owned the station, which signed on 16 days later on 1370 kHz with 5,000 watts of power during the day and 250 at night. Martínez Aguirre had entered into a partnership with Veracruz radio giant Carlos Ferráez Matos, and the station's inauguration was headlined by Governor Fausto M. Ortega. Given the difficulty of sending audio by phone line to the transmitter at San José Xilotzingo, XEPA was authorized to use an FM studio-transmitter link at 88.2 MHz. Puebla de Zaragoza (; nah, Cuetlaxcoapan), formally Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, formerly Puebla de los Ángeles during colonial times, or known in English simply as Puebla, is the seat of Puebla Municipality. XHORO-FM is a radio station on 94.9 FM in Puebla, Puebla. The station is owned by Grupo ORO and carries an English classic hits format known as Oro 94.9, Solo Hits. History XHORO received its first concession on December 21, 1978 and signed on February 14, 1979. It was owned by Elba Yolanda Brust Carmona. It was named "El y Ella", its logo being a rose. Later it became "Radio Oro 94.9" broadcasting ballads in Spanish. In 1998 it changed its programming to the contemporary format in English, as well as a pop and rock format. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz
Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Bolaños (; 12 March 1911 – 15 July 1979) was a Mexican politician and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as the President of Mexico from 1964 to 1970. Díaz Ordaz was born in San Andrés Chalchicomula, and obtained a law degree from the University of Puebla in 1937 where he later became its vice-rector. He represented Puebla's 1st district in the Chamber of Deputies from 1943 to 1946. Subsequently he represented the same state in the Chamber of Senators from 1946 to 1952 becoming closely acquainted with then-senator Adolfo López Mateos. Díaz Ordaz joined the campaign of Adolfo Ruiz Cortines for the 1952 election and subsequently worked for the Secretariat of the Interior under Ángel Carvajal Bernal.
