XHENI-FM
XHENI-FM is a radio station on 93.7 FM in Tejerías, Michoacán, serving Uruapan. It carries the Los 40 pop format. History XENI-AM received its concession on September 27, 1967. The station was owned by José Olalde Soria and based in Nueva Italia; it broadcast on 1320 kHz with 1,000 watts. XHURM-FM
XHURM-FM is a radio station on 102.1 FM in Uruapan, Michoacán. It is owned by Radiorama and known as La Mexicana with a Regional Mexican Regional Mexican is a Latin music radio format encompassing the musical genres from the different parts of rural Mexico and the Southwestern United States. Uruapan
Uruapan is the second largest city in the Mexico, Mexican state of Michoacán. It is located at the western edge of the Tarascan Plateau, Purépecha highlands, just to the east of the Tierra Caliente (Mexico), Tierra Caliente region. Nueva Italia, Michoacán
Nueva Italia (New Italy) is a city in the state of Michoacán, and is located in the Tierra Caliente Michoacána. History The town was founded in 1909 by Italian Dante Cusi to become the leading producer of cotton, rice, melon and maize of all of Mexico. It introduced waters of the Rio del Marquez to the arid region to make the soil fertile. In addition is the Rio Cupatitzio, through which channels and traps forms one of the largest irrigation complexes in Latin America. Lastly, the railroad allowed the opportunity for children from Italy to come. Subsequently, there was a ranch built, but is now in ruins. Grupo ACIR is a Mexican media company specializing in the operation of radio stations. It was established in 1965. ACIR is an acronym for ''Asociación de Concesionarios Independientes de Radio'' (Association of Independent Radio Concessionaires). History Grupo ACIR was founded on June 8, 1965, when Francisco Ibarra bought the XEDQ-AM (Radio Alegría) station in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz. During the next two years, three new radio stations were integrated: XEOM-AM in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, XEMM-AM in Morelia, Michoacán, XEMIA-AM in Guadalajara, Jalisco; and three stations of amplitude modulation in the Mexico City: XEL-AM Radio Capital, XEFR-AM Radio Felicidad and XEVOZ-AM Radio Voz.
