XHCHH-FM is a radio station in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Broadcasting on 94.9 FM, XHCHH is owned by Multimedios Radio and carries a Top 40 (CHR) format known as D95. History On June 5, 1992, the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) published a series of declarations of availability of new FM radio stations in various Mexican cities, including 94.9 MHz in Chihuahua, a 50,000-watt station with call sign XHCHH-FM. On March 9, 1994, the SCT selected Comunicaciones Alco, S.A. de C.V., as the winning concessionaire from among 38 bidders. The station began broadcasting November 22 of that year under Multimedios Radio operation, with the concession being transferred to a subsidiary in 1998. From 1996 to 2001, actor and comedian Omar Chaparro Omar Chaparro Alvarez (born November 26, 1974) is a Mexican actor, comedian, television host and singer. XHCHA-FM is a radio station in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, Mexico. Broadcasting on 104.5 FM, XHCHA is owned by Multimedios Radio and carries its La Lupe Spanish variety hits format. History XHCHA was made available for commercial use on December 5, 1989, with a maximum ERP of 50 kilowatts. Bidders for the station included Joaquín Vargas Gómez of MVS Radio and Francisco Aguirre Gómez of Grupo Radio México. In 1990, the government declared Radio Espectacular the winner of the station; the concession was awarded in 1993. The station has been owned by Multimedios for its entire history. XHHEM-FM is a radio station in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Broadcasting on 103.7 FM, XHHEM is owned by Multimedios Radio and carries a pop format known as Hits FM. History XHHEM began in 1939 as XEM-AM, owned by Pedro Meneses, Jr. The station originally broadcast at 1390 kHz. It was then sold to Mexican Broadcasting Co., S.A. and moved to 850; in 1972, the concession was transferred to Radio Chihuahua, S.A. Until the 1990s, it was a daytimer. In the 1980s the station was Radio Éxitos; in the 1990s and early 2000s it was known as Radio Renacimiento with Christian music. In 2010, XEM was sold to Multimedios Radio to become an outlet for Milenio Radio. In 2011, XEM received approval to migrate to FM.
