XEXQ-AM
XEXQ-AM is a radio station in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí. It broadcasts on 1190 kHz and is one of two radio stations owned by the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, known as Radio Universidad 1190 AM. XEXQ is the second-oldest university radio station in Mexico, behind XEUN-AM, Radio UNAM. Only a year prior, XEUN-AM, XEXX-AM in Mexico City, the station of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. The original station, licensed for 1250 kHz with a power of 50 watts, began formal transmissions the next day with programming from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Monday through Saturday. The new AM radio station came with a shortwave counterpart, also XEXQ, on 6045 kHz, which by the 1950s was one of 16 shortwave radio stations in Mexico and is still in operation ...

XHUSP-FM
XHUSP-FM is a radio station in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí. It broadcasts on 88.5 FM and is one of two radio stations owned by the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, known as Radio Universidad 88.5 FM. XHUSP broadcasts in HD Radio, HD. History The UASLP, already owner of longtime AM radio station XEXQ-AM, received a permit for an FM radio station in December 1989. The station signed on January 18, 1992. Some programming, such as the newscast "Reseña 88.5", is shared with XEXQ, but the stations do have separate programming for most of the broadcast day. In 2016, a third Radio Universidad service, XHUASM-FM 91.9 (5 kW ERP) was authorized to serve Matehuala. The station, known as "Universidad Stereo", entered program service on June 19, 2019. The Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (in es, Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, UASLP) is a public university in Mexico. It is the largest, oldest, and most comprehensive university in the state of San Luis Potosí, as well as one of the most important ones in Mexico. XEUN-AM
XEUN-AM is a radio station in Mexico City. Broadcasting on 860 AM, XEUN-AM is owned by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) as a sister to XEUN-FM 96.1 and XHUNAM-TDT 20. History On June 14, 1937, the Cultural Broadcasting Administration of UNAM was formed, and rector Luis Chico Goerne officially dedicated the facilities of the university's new radio station on Justo Sierra 16 in Mexico City. From 1937 to 1939, the station bore the calls XEXX and was located at 1170 kHz, broadcasting at 5 kW four hours a day; in 1939, the station moved to 860 kHz and took the XEUN calls. At the same time, UNAM shortwave radio signed on, as XEYU 9.6 MHz with 1,000 watts of power. With the new frequency came an expansion to seven hours a day, six days a week, with the station off the air for university holidays and on Sundays.

Rioverde, San Luis Potosí
Rioverde is a city and its surrounding municipality located in the south-central part of the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is the fifth-most populated city in the state, behind San Luis Potosí, Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, Ciudad Valles, and Matehuala.
