XEB Radio
XEB-AM (branded as ''La B Grande'') is a radio station on AM frequency 1220 kHz, serving Mexico City and surrounding areas in Mexico. It airs a Spanish language classic contemporary format with music from the 1940s to the 1970s. It has been owned by the Instituto Mexicano de la Radio (IMER), a Mexican government public broadcaster, since IMER's founding in 1983. Coyoacán
Coyoacán ( , ) is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City. The former village is now the borough's "historic center". The name comes from Nahuatl and most likely means "place of coyotes", when the Aztecs named a pre-Hispanic village on the southern shore of Lake Texcoco dominated by the Tepanec people. Against Aztec domination, these people welcomed Hernán Cortés and the Spanish, who used the area as a headquarters during the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire and made it the first capital of New Spain between 1521 and 1523. The village and later municipality of Coyoacán remained completely independent of Mexico City through the colonial period into the 19th century. Blanca Estela Pavón
María Blanca Estela Pavón Vasconcelos (February 21, 1926 – September 26, 1949) was a Mexican film actress and singer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She appeared in many classic films of the 1940s as a young woman. Her career peaked between 1948 and 1949. On September 26, 1949, she died in a plane crash near the Popocatépetl volcano located between Mexico City and Puebla.
