XBishopx
Bishop A.C. (formerly xBISHOPx) was an American straight edge hardcore punk, hardcore band, forming in 2004 and originating in Florida, United States. The band features current and former members of Until the End (band), Until the End, Remembering Never, xReign of Terrorx, and Suffocate Faster. Its lyrical content includes perspectives on politics, society, and the straight edge. Originally formed under the name xDiary Of A Corpsex, they recorded their first four track demo (which was later released as Bless the Dead in 2007). In 2005, the band changed its name and released their debut album ''Suicide Party'' on Ferret Records. Soon after, they released the remainder of recorded tracks on a split with The Red Baron (band), The Red Baron. Ferret Records
Ferret Music was an American independent record label turned Warner Music Group subsidiary, founded in 1996. The label is owned by NORA's vocalist, Carl Severson, and based in West Windsor, New Jersey. Ferret recently started an imprint called New Weathermen Records. Warner Music Group's Alternative Distribution Alliance acquired a stake in Ferret Music in August, 2006, and as a result is currently distributed by Fontana Distribution, Alternative Distribution Alliance and eOne Music. As of September 12, 2007, Ferret partnered with an uprising extreme metal and hardcore punk label out of the UK, Siege of Amida Records (S.O.A.R.). S.O.A.R will retain A&R responsibilities. Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing.
