X1 (band)
X1 (; ko, 엑스원, ekseuwon) was a South Korean boy group formed by CJ ENM through the Mnet reality competition show ''Produce X 101''. The group was composed of eleven members: Kim Yo-han, Kim Woo-seok, Han Seung-woo, Song Hyeong-jun, Cho Seung-youn, Son Dong-pyo, Lee Han-gyul, Nam Do-hyon, Cha Jun-ho, Kang Min-hee and Lee Eun-sang. The group debuted on August 27, 2019 with the single "Flash" under Swing Entertainment and was co-managed by Stone Music Entertainment. Initially contracted for five years, the Mnet vote manipulation investigation led to a halt in their activities, and after an unsuccessful negotiation about the group's future between the members' individual agencies, they disbanded on January 6, 2020. ''Produce X 101'' () is a 2019 South Korean boy group survival reality show on Mnet and the fourth season of the ''Produce 101'' franchise. The public, referred to as "national producers", "produces" a boy band by choosing 11 members among the 101 trainees from 47 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public will also choose the group's concept, debut song, and group name. The show aired from May 3 to July 19, 2019. The group from this show was named X1, but after extensive voting manipulation was proven, the group was disbanded on January 6, 2020. Amy Lee (born May 30, 1989), known professionally as Ailee, is an American singer and songwriter based in South Korea.
