X-Treme X-Men
''X-Treme X-Men'' is the name of two comic book series published by Marvel Comics, the first from 2001 through 2004, and the second from 2012 through 2013. All 46 issues of the first series were written by Chris Claremont, and featured a globetrotting X-Men team led by Storm. The first 24 issues were drawn by Salvador Larroca, and the final 22 issues were drawn by Igor Kordey. Volume 2 of ''X-Treme X-Men'' featured a cast of X-Men characters from alternate dimensions, but led by Dazzler from the main Earth-616 universe. The series was written by Greg Pak. The thirteenth and final issue was released in April 2013. Volume 1 Volume 1 of the series originated as part of a revamp of the X-Men line of comics in 2001. Salvador Larroca
Salvador Larroca () is a Spanish comic book artist, primarily known for his American work on various ''X-Men'' titles for Marvel Comics. Career After several years of working as a Cartography, cartographer, he began working as a comic artist at Marvel UK, the UK, Britain-based imprint of Marvel Comics. Larroca was working at Marvel UK when he contributed to ''Dark Angel'' and ''Death's Head II.'' At some point, Larroca began to work on mainstream North American comics, such as DC Comics' ''Flash (comics), Flash''. Afterwards, Larroca did a three-year run on Marvel Comics' ''Ghost Rider'', during the mid-1990s. It was not until after his run on ''Ghost Rider'', that Larroca would gain the exposure needed to become known as one of the most prominent comic book artists in the United States. Joe Quesada
Joseph Quesada (; born January 12, 1962'' Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; page 107) is an American comic book artist, writer, editor, and television producer. He became known in the 1990s for his work on various Valiant Comics books, such as ''Ninjak'' and ''Solar, Man of the Atom''. He later worked on numerous books for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, such as '' Batman: Sword of Azrael'' and ''X-Factor'', before forming his own company, Event Comics, where he published his creator-owned character, Ash. In 1998 he became an editor of Marvel Comics' Marvel Knights line, before becoming editor-in-chief of the company in 2000. He was named Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment in 2010 and left his editor-in-chief role in January 2011, being replaced by Axel Alonso. Beast (comics)
Beast (Dr. Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men. Originally called "The Beast", the character was introduced as a mutant possessing ape-like superhuman physical strength and agility, oversized hands and feet, a genius-level intellect, and otherwise normal appearance and speech. Eventually being referred to simply as "Beast", Hank McCoy underwent progressive physiological transformations, gaining animalistic physical characteristics. These include blue fur, both simian and feline facial features, pointed ears, fangs, and claws. Beast's physical strength and senses increased to even greater levels. Betsy Braddock
Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with Captain Britain and the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Herb Trimpe in 1976, she first appeared in the Marvel UK series ''Captain Britain''. Betsy Braddock was initially a supporting character in the adventures of her twin brother, Brian Braddock, as the original Captain Britain, before temporarily becoming the superheroine Captain Britain herself and later joining the X-Men in 1986 as Psylocke, a codename coined by the villains Mojo and Spiral.
