Moon Martin
John David "Moon" Martin (October 31, 1945 – May 11, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Career Born in Altus, Oklahoma, United States, Martin gained recognition in the 1970s as a pop artist and composer. Originally a rockabilly artist, he wrote the songs "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)", made famous by the English singer Robert Palmer, and "Cadillac Walk", made famous by the American singer Willy DeVille. Martin scored five minor hits of his own with "Rolene" (No. 30 US, No. 77 Australia), "No Chance" (No. 50 US), both in 1979, "Signal For Help" (No. 60 Australia) in 1981, "X-ray Vision", (No. 99) and "Aces For You" (No. 95) both in Australia in 1982. His 1982 song, "X-Ray Vision" was an MTV hit music video. Peter Sinfield
Peter John Sinfield (born 27 December 1943) is an English poet and songwriter. He is best known as the co-founder and former lyricist of King Crimson, whose debut album ''In the Court of the Crimson King'' is considered one of the first and most influential progressive rock albums ever released. Sinfield's lyrics are known for their surreal imagery, often involving common fantasy concepts, nature, or the sea. They often also deal with emotional concepts and, sometimes, storyline concepts. Later in his career, he adapted his songwriting to better suit pop music, and wrote a number of successful songs for artists such as Celine Dion, Cher, Cliff Richard, Leo Sayer, Five Star, and Bucks Fizz. A coupling from MCA Records' ''Beverly Hills Cop'' soundtrack, Patti LaBelle's " New Attitude" and Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F", held the No. 1 slot for the chart's first week and was also No. 1 for the second consecutive week on the most played dance/disco chart. TKA Songs
The group comprising a trio was prominent in the 1980s and early 1990s, particularly in New York City, Chicago, and Miami. Its members originally were Tony Ortiz, Louis "Kayel" Sharpe, and Ralph "Aby" Cruz—the original lead singer. Due to tension within the group between Kayel and Aby, the latter was later replaced by Angel "Love" Vasquez, which allowed Kayel to assume the lead vocals. The acronym ''TKA'' represents their collective initials. All of TKA's members are of Puerto Rican descent. Many Freestyle fans consider them the kings of that genre, although Kayel seemingly downplayed this label, having jokingly stated "There are no kings in freestyle.
