X-O Manowar
X-O Manowar (Aric of Dacia) is a fictional superhero co-created by writers Jim Shooter and Steve Englehart, and artists Bob Layton and Barry Windsor-Smith. Matt Kindt (born 1973) is an American comic book writer, cartoonist, and graphic designer. His early creator-owned works were spy fiction, and their success led to mainstream work for hire projects in superhero fiction and other genres. The Valiant Universe is the fictional shared universe where most stories in American comic book titles that are published by Valiant Comics take place. The majority of the characters within said universe were created by Jim Shooter, and Bob Layton, the founders of the publisher. Valiant superheroes such as Bloodshot, Shadowman, Rai, X-O Manowar, Archer & Armstrong, Gilad the Eternal Warrior, Doctor Mirage, and Ninjak are from this universe, and it also contains well-known supervillains such as the Spider Aliens, Toyo Harada, Mothergod, and Roku. Unity is an 18-issue fictional crossover, crossover story published by Valiant Comics in the summer of 1992 in comics, 1992. It was conceived by Valiant's Editor-in-Chief, Jim Shooter, who wanted to revolutionize the crossover concept in comics. The ''Unity'' story was serialized in all nine of the Valiant Universe comic book titles published from August to September 1992 and set up several spin-off titles.
