X'Trapolis 100
The X'Trapolis 100 is a class of single deck electric multiple units part of Alstom's X'Trapolis family of trains, operated in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Valparaíso, Chile. Melbourne In service When originally introduced to the suburban network in 2002, the trains operated only on the former Hillside network (consisting of the Burnley and Clifton Hill group lines), and did not run revenue services elsewhere operated by M>Train on the Bayside Trains half of the system. Although the networks merged in 2004, when Connex took over all operations, the X'trapolis units did not operate on the Bayside system at the time. On 22 October 2014, the operation of X'Trapolis 100 trains was expanded to include lines on the former Bayside Trains network with the Frankston line being cleared for their operation and initially running two weekday morning-peak services. On 20 November 2016, X'Trapolis 100 trains were expanded to full-time running on the Frankston line and began oper ...

X'Trapolis Mega
The X'Trapolis Mega is an electric multiple unit, part of the X'Trapolis family, built by Gibela (a joint venture between French company Alstom and South African interests) for the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) that operates in Metrorail commuter service. During October 2013, a R51 billion (€4 billion, $4.46 billion) contract for the supply of 600 X'Trapolis Mega trainsets, including a local production arrangement, was signed by Alstom and PRASA. The majority of the vehicles are to be domestically assembled at a new facility in Dunnottar, established by Gibela, over the course of ten years. During December 2016, local testing of the first trainsets commenced; in May 2017, 13 trainsets begun performing revenue services upon Pretoria-based routes. It is anticipated for the X'Trapolis Mega shall replace the majority of PRASA's existing rolling stock, much of which dates back to the 1950s. Development The X'Trapolis Mega is marketed and produced by Gibela, a jo ...

RER NG
RER NG (French: ''RER Nouvelle Génération'', English: ''RER New Generation'') is a double-deck, dual-voltage electric multiple unit trainset that is currently under construction. Also known as the Class Z 58000 and Class Z 58500, the trainsets are expected to operate on line D and line E of the Réseau Express Régional (RER), a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit system serving Paris and its Île-de-France suburbs. The trainsets were built by a consortium of French manufacturer Alstom and Canadian conglomerate Bombardier. The RER NG is considered to be a part of Alstom's X'Trapolis Duplex platform and is an evolution of several generations of double-deck trainsets built by the consortium, including the Z 2N, MI 2N, and MI 09 series. Metrotrén
The Metrotrén (Spanish compound for ''metro'', ' subway' + ''tren'', 'train') was a Chilean commuter rail and regional rail service operated by the state-owned rail company EFE. The system started as a line between Santiago and San Fernando, unifying between them the city of Rancagua and other 23 towns in the Metropolitan and O'Higgins regions. This line was first connected with the Santiago Metro at Alameda station, which gave the name to the service. In 2017, after 5 years of renovation, the service was split into two, a fully renovated, commuter service between Santiago and Nos, a neighborhood in San Bernardo, in the south of the city, and an regional rail between Santiago and Rancagua. This caused the suppression of all Metrotren services to San Fernando, a second connection with the Santiago Metro at Lo Valledor station, and the integration of the Santiago-Nos service to the Metropolitan Movility Network, introducing the railway services into the Santiago's integrat ...

The 140 five-car trains were built by a consortium of French manufacturer Alstom and Canadian conglomerate Bombardier. The MI 09 is considered to be a part of Alstom's X'Trapolis Duplex platform and is an evolution of earlier the MI 2N series, which has been in use since 1998. The final assembly of the trains was performed at Alstom's Valenciennes factory and Bombardier's Crespin factory between 2010 and 2017. The first set was placed into regular passenger service on 5 December 2011. The introduction of the MI 09 allowed for the MS 61 trains to be retired on 16 April 2016 and also allowed RATP to shift the MI 84 trains to the RER B by 24 ...
