Wooli
Adam Puleo, better known by his alias Wooli, is an American riddim and dubstep DJ and producer. He is known for the songs "Island" and " Another Me", with the prior being a collaboration with American dubstep producers Seven Lions and Trivecta and the latter being a collaboration with Seven Lions and Canadian producer and DJ Excision. "Island" peaked at the No. 20 position on ''Billboard's'' Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart in early 2019. "Another Me" peaked on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs at the No. 46 position in late 2019. Early life Puleo was first introduced to bass music with a mix produced by English drum and bass producer Andy C. Kompany (musician)
Kyle Hagberg, better known by his stage name Kompany, is a Los Angeles-based dubstep producer. He is known for his releases on the British record label Never Say Die, including his ''Revolt'', ''New Reign'', and ''Metropolis ''extended plays and his various collaborations with other Never Say Die artists. Early life Hagberg first began DJing after watching American electronic music producer Skrillex play at the Hard Summer music festival in 2011. Before starting his career in electronic music, Kyle was a drummer, but after becoming more engrossed in his hobby, he started to neglect drumming and instead chose to pursue electronic music. Sam Dobkin, known by his stage name Trivecta, is an electronic dance music artist from Tampa, Florida. He has worked with record labels such as Monstercat, Thrive Music, and Ophelia Records. Career 2014–2016: Beginnings Trivecta began his career by releasing the melodic dubstep song "One Night Only" featuring Yohamna Solange on April 7, 2014 with record label Monstercat. Another Me (song)
"Another Me" is a song by American DJ and record producer Seven Lions, Canadian electronic music producer Excision, and dubstep musician Wooli, featuring American singer-songwriter Dylan Matthew. Seven Lions' record label Ophelia released it on 30 August 2019. Background and release The then-unknown song debuted during Seven Lions' DJ set at Electric Forest Festival in late-June, 2019, though no release date was confirmed. In late-August, Seven Lions announced the song as "Another Me" on Twitter. Excision (musician)
Jeff Abel (born 29 April 1986), better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian producer and disc jockey. He is the founder of Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records. Active since 2006, his first release, "Warning", was in 2007. He released an annual "Shambhala" mix album in the third quarter of each year until 2016. He started his own music festival (Lost Lands) the following year and releases annual mixes. He is known for his tours with immense sound systems and huge visual productions. Abel founded the record label Destroid Music. Upon its debut, Destroid released a full-length digital album titled ''The Invasion''. Frédérik Durand (born 4 May 1988), professionally known as SNAILS, is a DJ and music producer from Montreal, Canada. Durand's musical style has been described as "vomitstep", featuring "guttural bass gurgles, crushing 808s and synthesizers oscillated well past the point of absurdity" according to ''Billboard''. Jersey Club
Jersey club (originally called Brick City club) is a style of electronic club music that originated in Newark, New Jersey in the late 2000s. It was pioneered by DJ Tameil and other members of the Brick Bandits crew, who were inspired by Baltimore club's uptempo hybrid of house and hip hop. Other young producers also pushed for the progression of this style of music in the late 2000s. Riddim (EDM)
Riddim is a subgenre of dubstep known for its heavy use of repetitive and minimalist sub-bass and triplet percussion arrangements. It shares the same name as the Jamaican genre that influenced both it and dubstep, which originally derived from dub, reggae, and dancehall. Originating in the United Kingdom, specifically Croydon, in the early 2010s as a resurgence of the style used by early dubstep works, riddim had started to gain mainstream presence in the electronic music scene around 2015.
