Woodville Park is a suburb in the northwestern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, around 8 km from the city centre. Woodville Park is bordered to the north by Torrens Road, Adelaide, Torrens Road, to the east by Kilkenny Road and David Terrace, to the south by Port Road, Adelaide, Port Road and to the west by Park Street. It is crossed by the Outer Harbor railway line (southeast to northwest) and is served by the Woodville Park railway station at the northwest end and by Kilkenny railway station, Adelaide, Kilkenny railway station on the other side of David Terrace. Electoral District Of Cheltenham
Cheltenham is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. Named after the suburb of the same name, it is a 17.5 km² suburban electorate in Adelaide's north-west, taking in the suburbs of Albert Park, Alberton, Beverley, Cheltenham, Findon, Hendon, Pennington, Queenstown, St Clair, Woodville, Woodville North, Woodville Park, Woodville South, Woodville West, and part of Rosewater. Allenby Gardens is a western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Charles Sturt. History Laid out in 1922, the suburb was briefly advertised as ''Gallipoli Gardens'' before being named Allenby Gardens in honour of the British Field Marshal, Lord Allenby. The first Allenby Gardens Post Office was renamed West Croydon, South Australia on 1 March 1945; on the same day a new office opened within the present boundaries of the suburb. Geography Allenby Gardens is bordered by multiple roads and other points of interest. The Outer Harbor railway line is a suburban branch line in Adelaide, South Australia. It runs from Adelaide station through the north western suburbs to Port Adelaide and Outer Harbor. It is 21.9 kilometres in length, and shares part of its run with the Grange line. It is operated by Adelaide Metro. Since 2016, the line has been used as a shuttle for cruise liner passengers heading for Adelaide, with additional services provided. Torrens Road, Adelaide
Torrens Road is an arterial road in the northwestern suburbs of Adelaide, Australia. The road is aligned southeast to northwest and is parallel with Port Road for most of its length. Route It commences at the City Ring Route along the edge of North Adelaide, and heads northwest. Major roads that intersect Torrens Road include Churchill Road (A22), South Road, and Regency Road. It meets the Outer Harbor railway line in Rosewater, and ceases a short distance later, a couple of hundred metres south of Grand Junction Road (A16). The short section between Park Terrace and Churchill Road at the southeastern end of Torrens Road is designated route A22, which then follows Churchill Road.
