Malcolm Wollen
Air Marshal Malcolm Shirley Dundas Wollen (2 August 1928 – 23 May 2013), PVSM, VrC, was an alumnus of Bishop Cotton Boys' School. He was commissioned into the Indian Air Force in 1947. He was awarded the Sword of Honour, the Flying Trophy, and the President's Plaque. Later, he was bestowed with the Vir Chakra and the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM). Peter Wollen
Peter Wollen (29 June 1938 – 17 December 2019) was a Film theory, film theorist and filmmaker. He studied English at Christ Church, Oxford. Both Political journalism, political journalist and film theorist, Wollen's ''Signs and Meaning in the Cinema'' (1969) helped to transform the discipline of film studies by incorporating the methodology of structuralism and semiotics. He taught film at a number of universities and was Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Los Angeles at the time of his retirement from academe in 2005. Life Wollen was born on June 29, 1938, in Woodford, London, Woodford, northeast London, to Douglas and Winifred (Waterman) Wollen. Douglas was a Methodist minister and Winifred was a teacher. Philip Wollen OAM (born 1950) is an Australian philanthropist, environmentalist and animal rights activist. He is a former Vice-President of Citibank and was also General Manager at Citicorp. Wollen is a vegan and funds projects that protect children, animals and the environment. At age 34, '' Australian Business Magazine'' named him in the "Brightest and Best" top 40 headhunted executives in Australia. In 2005 he received the Medal of the Order of Australia and in 2007 he won the Australian of the Year (Victoria) award. Wollen went to school at the Bishop Cotton Boys' School, Bangalore.
