Wolfratshausen Station
Wolfratshausen station is a station of the Munich S-Bahn. It is located in the Upper Bavarian town of Wolfratshausen in Germany. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station. It has two platform tracks next to a central platform. The station is located in the network area of the Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (Munich Transport and Tariff Association, MVV) and is served by line 7 of the S-Bahn, which is operated by Deutsche Bahn. The station was established on 27 July 1891 as a terminus when the Isar Valley Railway from Munich was put into operation. The line was built and operated by Lokalbahn AG (LAG). The station became a through station on 1 June 1897 when the Isar Valley Railway was extended to Eurasburg. In 1898, the line was extended from Eurasburg to Bichl. Until the nationalisation of the LAG in 1938 the Wolfratshausen station included a locomotive depot. The German mark (german: Goldmark ; sign: ℳ) was the currency of the German Empire, which spanned from 1871 to 1918. Uerdingen Railbus
The Uerdingen railbus (German: ''Uerdinger Schienenbus'') is the common term for the multiple units which were developed by the German firm of Waggonfabrik Uerdingen for the Deutsche Bundesbahn and private railways after the Second World War. These vehicles were diesel-powered, twin-axle railbuses of light construction. The diesel motors were built into the chassis underneath the vehicle. The VT 95 (later DB Class 795) and VT 98 (later DB Class 798) of the former Deutsche Bundesbahn in particular, are associated with this concept. Holzkirchen is a market town in Bavaria, Germany. With a population of over 16,000 (2008) it is the largest town in the Miesbach district. DRG Class ET 91
The Baureihe ET 91 was a series of electric multiple units built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft of Germany. The units colloquially known as Gläserner Zug (''Glass Train'') were equipped with large panorama windows, providing an excellent outside view to the passengers. The vehicles were used for recreational trips only, especially in southern Germany and Austria. DRG Class 64
The Deutsche Reichsbahn had a standard passenger train tank engine with a wheel arrangement of 1'C1' (UIC classification) or 2-6-2 (Whyte notation) and a low axle load, which was designated in their classification system as the DRG Class 64 (''Baureihe 64''). Kochelsee Railway
The Kochelsee Railway (german: Kochelseebahn, literally "Lake Kochel Railway") is a branch line in Upper Bavaria (''Oberbayern''), Germany, that is just under 36 km long, single-tracked and fully electrified. It is operated by the Deutsche Bahn AG as route 961 in their List of German scheduled railway routes. The ''Kochelseebahn'' branches in Tutzing from the Munich Hauptbahnhof–Garmisch-Partenkirchen main line and runs from there via Penzberg to Kochel am See by the Kochelsee that gives the line its name.
