Matt Simons (born February 20, 1987) is an American singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York City. Self-releasing his first EP ''Living Proof'' in 2012, he has since gone on to release two full-length albums globally, achieving chart success across Europe, South Africa, and the Americas. Personal life Matt Simons was born and brought up in Palo Alto, California . Hailing from a musical family, his grandparents were both opera singers in Los Angeles. Having played the saxophone from an early age, he got a degree in jazz saxophone performance at the Purchase College Conservatory, as well as learning to play on piano, switching to clarinet, guitar, and saxophone, eventually settling back on piano. Containing 10 tracks, nine of which his own compositions, the album was released in the United States on June 19, 2012. The album also contains one non-original track, "I Will Follow You into the Dark" which if from band Death Cab for Cutie. The debut single from the album produced by American producer and sound engineer Stephen Gause was "Gone" that was released in June 2012. The second single from the album was "With You". ''Goede tijden, slechte tijden'' (, ), also known as ''GTST'' or simply ''Goede tijden'', is the longest-running Dutch soap opera, which began on 1 October 1990 on RTL4. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting.
