Matt Simons
Matt Simons (born February 20, 1987) is an American singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York City. Self-releasing his first EP ''Living Proof'' in 2012, he has since gone on to release two full-length albums globally, achieving chart success across Europe, South Africa, and the Americas. Personal life Matt Simons was born and brought up in Palo Alto, California . Hailing from a musical family, his grandparents were both opera singers in Los Angeles. Having played the saxophone from an early age, he got a degree in jazz saxophone performance at the Purchase College Conservatory, as well as learning to play on piano, switching to clarinet, guitar, and saxophone, eventually settling back on piano. Career He released his first EP ''Living Proof'' in 2010 and spent 2011 touring the United States and Europe, including the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Falco van den Aker, professionally known as Deepend is a Dutch DJ/producer. He gained international recognition after his remix of Matt Simons' " Catch & Release" peaked at number one in five countries and the European Airplay charts. The DJ racked in over 250 million Spotify plays and 80 million YouTube streams for the remix. Deepend was originally a duo consisting of van den Aker and fellow Dutch producer Bob van Ratingen; van Ratingen left in 2018 and van den Aker now uses the Deepend name as a solo project. ''Goede tijden, slechte tijden'' (, ), also known as ''GTST'' or simply ''Goede tijden'', is the longest-running Dutch soap opera, which began on 1 October 1990 on RTL4. The programme was the first daily (every workday) soap in the Netherlands and Europe. The soap is produced by Joop van den Ende and to date over 6,300 episodes have been broadcast. It was inspired by the Australian soap ''The Restless Years'', although it started following its own course during the third season. GTST is broadcast Monday to Friday at 20:00. Milow released his debut album, ''The Bigger Picture'', in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records. Marco Roberto Borsato (; born 21 December 1966) is a Dutch singer. Born in Alkmaar, North Holland, he started performing in Italian before switching to Dutch in 1994. He has consistently been one of the most successful and biggest grossing artists in the Netherlands and Belgium for the past thirty years.
