Wisconsin Assembly, District 44
The 44th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises most of the city of Janesville, Wisconsin, Janesville, in central Rock County, Wisconsin, Rock County. It contains the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater at Rock County campus and the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport. The district is represented by Democratic Party (United States), Democrat Sue Conley (politician), Sue Conley, since January 2021. The 44th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin Senate, District 15, Wisconsin's 15th Senate district, along with the Wisconsin Assembly, District 43, 43rd and Wisconsin Assembly, District 45, 45th Assembly districts. History The district was created in the 1972 redistricting act1971 Wisc.
