WINO (band)
Wino (stylized as WINO and pronounced "wine-oh") is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1995 and broke up in 2002. Originally, the band's name was ボグ・マイトルスター (bogu maitorusuta), which seems to be just gibberish. The band was renamed WINO in 1996. One of Wino's biggest hits was "Taiyou wa Yoru mo Kagayaku" (The Sun Also Shines at Night), the second opening in the 1999 anime series ''Hunter × Hunter''. Style and influences Their music was heavily influenced by British rock bands, most notably the Beatles, and the band has often been compared to Oasis. WINO (FM)
WINO (91.9 FM) is a community radio station broadcasting at 91.9 MHz, licensed to Watkins Glen, New York, and on W201CD 88.1 MHz, licensed to Ithaca, New York. The station studios are in downtown Ithaca. History In 2002, Ithaca Community Radio, Inc. obtained a FCC license for a translator on 88.1 FM in Ithaca. Because these have to re-broadcast full powered stations and ICR at this time did not own one, they at first re-broadcast WEOS and then later WSQX. In October 2007, they applied for a full powered FM license for Watkins Glen, as none were available for Ithaca proper. And then in June 2012, they completed their studios based in Clinton House in downtown Ithaca and finally went on the air as a community owned and operated station whose programming serves Tompkins and Schuyler counties. Programming The station features a variety of programming during the day, including locally produced programs and syndicated programs from Pacifica Radio and others. Translator In ...

Wino (particle)
In supersymmetry theories of particle physics, a gaugino is the hypothetical fermionic supersymmetric field quantum (superpartner) of a gauge field, as predicted by gauge theory combined with supersymmetry. All gauginos have spin 1/2, except for gravitino (spin 3/2). In the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model the following gauginos exist: * The gluino (symbol ) is the superpartner of the gluon, and hence carries color charge. * The gravitino (symbol ) is the supersymmetric partner of the graviton. * Three winos (symbol and W͂3) are the superpartners of the W bosons of the SU(2)L gauge fields. * The bino is the superpartner of the U(1) gauge field corresponding to weak hypercharge. Sometimes the term "electroweakinos" is used to refer to winos and binos and on occasion also higgsinos. Note that in other SUSY models the zino () is the superpartner of the Z boson. Mixing Gauginos mix with higgsinos, the superpartners of the Higgs field's degrees of freedom, ...

Scott "Wino" Weinrich
Robert Scott Weinrich (born 1961), better known as Wino, is an American singer and guitarist. His early influences were the Monkees and the Beatles (the latter inspired him to play guitar), and later Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath. He saw Black Sabbath during the ''Paranoid'' tour and described the gig as life-changing. He also cited punk bands like the Stooges, the Dictators and the Saints as big influences. Alcoholism
Alcoholism is, broadly, any drinking of alcohol (drug), alcohol that results in significant Mental health, mental or physical health problems. Because there is disagreement on the definition of the word ''alcoholism'', it is not a recognized diagnostic entity. Predominant diagnostic classifications are alcohol use disorder (DSM-5) or alcohol dependence (ICD-11); these are defined in their respective sources. Excessive alcohol use can damage all organ systems, but it particularly affects the brain, heart, liver, pancreas and immune system. Alcoholism can result in mental illness, delirium tremens, Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome, Heart arrhythmia, irregular heartbeat, an impaired immune response, liver cirrhosis and alcohol and cancer, increased cancer risk. Drinking during pregnancy can result in fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Women are generally more sensitive than men to the harmful effects of alcohol, primarily due to their smaller body weight, lower capacity to metaboli ...
