Wilma Goich
Wilma Goich (; born 16 October 1945) is an Italian pop singer and television personality. Career Born in Cairo Montenotte, Savona, Goich began her career in 1964, when she released her first single "Dopo il sole pioverà". She scored two domestic hits in 1966 and 1968 with the songs "In un fiore" and "Gli occhi miei", which peaked respectively sixth and seventh place on the Italian charts. Between 1971 and 1979 Goich formed with her then-husband Edoardo Vianello the folk-pop duo Vianella. Cairo Montenotte
Cairo Montenotte () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Savona in Liguria, an Italian region located west of Genoa and northwest of Savona. Located in Val Bormida, it is a member of the Comunità Montana Alta Val Bormida. It is considered to be the main centre of Val Bormida and it has 12691 inhabitants. It is the fourth municipality in the province together with Savona, Albenga and Varazze, as well as the most popular municipality in Liguria among those without outlet on the sea. The municipal area is the biggest in the province behind Sassello, and the fifth in Liguria. In 2007, Cairo Montenotte drew up a project of collaboration with other municipalities of Val Bormida through the formulation of the so-called ‘Piano Strategico delle Città delle Bormide’, focusing on establishing the area within the Ligurian socio-economic context in a more effective way. Savona
Savona (; lij, Sann-a ) is a seaport and ''comune'' in the west part of the northern Italy, Italian region of Liguria, capital of the Province of Savona, in the Riviera di Ponente on the Mediterranean Sea. Edoardo Vianello
Edoardo Vianello (born 24 June 1938) is an Italian singer, composer and actor. He's considered one of the most popular Italian singers of the Sixties. Career Born in Rome, Vianello started his career in 1956. His first successes came in 1961, with "Il capello" ("The Hair") and "Pinne fucile ed occhiali" ("Fins, rifle, and glasses"), which both charted up to the 2nd position in the Italian Hit Parade. Vianello had several successes in the 1960s, such as "Guarda come dondolo" ("Watch How I swing"), "Abbronzatissima" ("Very Tanned"), "O mio signore" ("Oh my Lord") which topped the charts, and "I Watussi" which went up to 3rd. After a less successful period, he re-launched his career in the 1970s, founding the duo Vianella with his wife Wilma Goich. Mike Bongiorno
Michael Nicholas Salvatore Bongiorno (; May 26, 1924 – September 8, 2009) was an Italian-American television host. After a few experiences in the US, he started working on RAI in the 1950s and was considered to be the most popular host in Italy. He was also known by the nickname ''il Re del Quiz'' ("The Quiz King"), and the peculiarity of starting all his shows with his trademark greeting: ''Allegria!'' ("Cheers!", "Joy!"). Early years Bongiorno was born in New York City to parents of Italian descent. He moved to Turin (his mother's native city), when he was young. His father was a Sicilian-American lawyer of partial Arbëreshë origin. During World War II, he abandoned his studies and joined a group of Italian partisans.
