Willard, Kansas
Willard is a city in Shawnee and Wabaunsee counties in the State of Kansas in the United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 74. History Before 1883, Willard was a tiny community but when the Rock Island Railroad laid tracks through it, Willard became a typical railroad town. In 1887, the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway built a main line from Topeka through Willard to Herington. The Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway was foreclosed in 1891 and taken over by Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway, which shut down in 1980 and reorganized as Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas Railroad, merged in 1988 with Missouri Pacific Railroad, merged in 1997 with Union Pacific Railroad. Most locals still refer to this railroad as the "Rock Island". In the early 1920s, Willard boasted a population of over 300 and was a major cattle shipping point for this region. Willard is a village in Torrance County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 253 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is not experiencing the same extreme growth that towns farther north in the state are. A wind farm has recently been constructed upon the mesa just south of the town. Willard Park (Cleveland Park)
Willard Park is a public park in downtown Cleveland, in the U.S. state of Ohio. The park sits at the northwest corner of East 9th Street and Lakeside Avenue, adjacent to Cleveland City Hall, and is within the boundaries of the Cleveland Mall historic district. It is the location of the public sculpture ''Free Stamp'', and is the home of the original Cleveland Fire Fighters Memorial. Willard park is named after Archibald Willard. Willard Drug Treatment Campus is located in Willard, a community in the Town of Romulus, and is adjacent to Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Region. Willard is a 900-bed intensive "boot-camp" style drug treatment campus for men and women.
