Will James (artist)
William Roderick James (June 6, 1892 – September 3, 1942) was a Canadian-American artist and writer of the American West. He is known for writing ''Smoky the Cowhorse'', for which he won the 1927 Newbery Medal, and numerous "cowboy" stories for adults and children. His artwork, which predominantly involved cowboy and rodeo scenes, followed "in the tradition of Charles Russell", (Reprinted from ''Nevada Historical Society Quarterly'', Volume 33, Summer 1990, Number 2.) and much of it was used to illustrate his books. In 1992, he was inducted into the Hall of Great Westerners of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Early life James was born Joseph Ernest Nephtali Dufault, in 1892 in Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton, Quebec, Canada, although later, when he began mythologizing his life and in his autobiography, he claimed he was born in Montana. Will James (born 22 December 1976 in Plymouth, England) is a former Wales international rugby union player. He most recently played for Gloucester Rugby, and has also played for Pontypool RFC, Pontypridd RFC and Cornish Pirates. A Wales international James made his international debut for Wales in a friendly match against England at Twickenham in August 2007. Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther. After two EPs, James left and was replaced by Tobin Esperance. The band independently released two more EPs before signing with DreamWorks Records in 1999, subsequently releasing the triple-platinum '' Infest'' in 2000, the gold album ''Lovehatetragedy'' in 2002 and the platinum album '' Getting Away with Murder'' in 2004.
