Will Dennis (comics)
William Jonathon Dennis (born 10 July 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Kilmarnock, on loan from AFC Bournemouth. Career Dennis started his career in the academy of Luton Town before moving to join the Watford academy, where he played from under-9s up to under-16s. After being released by Watford, Dennis had trials with Milton Keynes Dons, Coventry City and Stevenage. Dennis joined AFC Bournemouth at the age of 15 in 2016, turning professional 18 months later and joining the first-team at the start of the 2019–20 season. He also had spells in non-league with Guernsey and Weymouth during the 2017–18 season. In March 2020 he signed a new three-and-a-half year contract with the club. Later that month he was praised by manager Eddie Howe. On 11 December 2021, Dennis signed for Wealdstone on an emergency loan. The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. Together with the Isthmian League and the Northern Premier League it forms levels seven and eight of the English football league system. The structure of the Southern League has changed several times since its formation in 1894, and currently there are 84 clubs which are divided into four divisions. The 2017–18 season was the 115th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. It was also the last to have a single Premier Division. From the 2014–15 season onwards, the Southern League is known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik. The league constitution was announced in May 2017. The Isthmian League () is a regional men's football league covering Greater London, East and South East England, featuring mostly semi-professional clubs. The 2017–18 season was the 103rd season of the Isthmian League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East and South East England. It was also the twelfth season for the current incarnations of the Premier, North and South Divisions, the last to have two regional divisions, and the first as the Bostik League following a sponsorship deal with Bostik. The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League.
