Whovians (TV Series)
''Whovians'' is an Australian comedy panel chat show hosted by Rove McManus, which screens on ABC. Rove engages with a team of four celebrity " Whovians", that is fans of science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', to analyse, critique and unravel the mysteries of the program. The first episode screened on 16 April 2017 on ABC TV Plus as a companion piece to the first episode of the tenth series of ''Doctor Who'' after it aired on ABC. The second season began 8 October 2018 on ABC TV Plus as a companion piece to the first episode of the eleventh series. Rove McManus
John Henry Michael McManus (born 21 January 1974), better known by the stage name Rove McManus, is an Australian triple Gold Logie award-winning comedian, television and radio presenter, producer and media personality. He was the host of the eponymous variety show ''Rove'' and was also the host of the comedy talk show ''Rove LA''. He is the co-owner of the production company Roving Enterprises with business partner Craig Campbell. He hosts '' Whovians'' on the ABC. Stephen Conroy
Stephen Michael Conroy (born 18 January 1963) is an Australian former politician who was an Australian Labor Party member of the Senate from 1996 to 2016, representing the state of Victoria. He served as a minister in the Rudd and Gillard governments. He resigned from the Senate in September 2016. He now works as a lobbyist and political commentator. Sarah Dollard
Sarah Dollard (born 21 January 1980) is an Australian television screenwriter, living and working in the United Kingdom. She made her start in writing for television on the long-running Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', before moving to the UK in 2008. Cal Wilson (born 5 October 1970) is a New Zealand stand-up comedian, author, radio and television presenter. Early life After attending high school in Christchurch, New Zealand, Wilson completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canterbury. Comedy career She co-founded the Court Jesters improv group in 1990 and was part of the New Zealand team that won the World Theatresports title in Los Angeles in 1994. Dave Callan
David Gerard Callan (born 20 September 1975) is an Irish-born stand-up comedian, who has had a career in television and radio, and is based in Melbourne, Australia. Up until 2010 he worked as a Triple J disc jockey. Biography Callan was born in Dundalk, Ireland, and arrived in Australia in 1990, aged 15. He spent part of his teenage years in Perth where he attended Chisholm Catholic College. Radio career Callan hosted the mid-dawn shift at Triple J on Sundays from 1am to 6am for most of 2005 until it was discontinued. Tasma Walton
Tasma Walton (born 19 August 1973) is an Australian television and film actress. Acting career Walton joined local radio station 6GE and trained as a production assistant and copy writer in her home town. She was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) but dropped out after two years. She joined a small Sydney theatre, and landed a role as the love interest of Ian Moss in the music video for Tucker's Daughter off his 1989 debut album ''Matchbook''.
