"Who Watches the Watchers" is the fourth episode of the third season of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'', the 52nd episode overall, first broadcast on October 16, 1989. Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the Starfleet crew of the Federation starship Enterprise-D. In this episode, the ''Enterprise'' must undo the damage when a primitive civilization discovers a Federation observation team and concludes that the Starfleet personnel are gods. The episode title is a translation of the Latin phrase "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" Deanna Troi
Deanna Troi is a main character in the science-fiction television series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'' and related TV series and films, portrayed by actress Marina Sirtis. Mintaka , designation Delta Orionis (δ Orionis, abbreviated Delta Ori, δ Ori) and 34 Orionis (34 Ori), is a multiple star system some 1,200 light-years from the Sun in the constellation of Orion. Together with Alnitak (Zeta Orionis) and Alnilam (Epsilon Orionis), the three stars form Orion's Belt, known by many names among ancient cultures. A starship, starcraft, or interstellar spacecraft is a theoretical spacecraft designed for interstellar travel, traveling between planetary systems. The term is mostly found in science fiction.
