''Who's Your Momma'' is the fifth studio album by Netherlands, Dutch pop rock singer Anouk (singer), Anouk. It was released on 23 November 2007 in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is her first studio album of new material since ''Hotel New York'' in December 2004. ''Who's Your Momma'' debuted at number one in the Netherlands, making it her fifth number one album and fourth debut at the top. The album contains the soul music, soul-influenced rock first single "Good God (Anouk song), Good God". In May 2008, the single "Lost" from her previous studio album ''Hotel New York'' reached the number 2 position in Norway. Therefore, EMI decided to release the album in Norway in June 2008 and add "Lost" to the track listing. The video for "Modern World" was directed by Melina Matsoukas. Anouk (singer)
Anouk Schemmekes (, ; born 8 April 1975), professionally known by the mononym Anouk, is a Dutch singer and songwriter. After her 1997 breakthrough rock single '' Nobody's Wife'', she had hit records in the Dutch and Belgian charts. Many of her albums topped the Dutch album charts; most of them going Platinum and several debuting in the number 1 position. Her most famous singles include: ''R U Kiddin' Me'', ''Michel'', ''Girl'', ''Lost'', ''Modern World'', '' Three Days in a Row'', ''Birds'', and ''Woman''. Anouk had released thirteen studio albums by 2022, a mix of anglophonic rock, pop and adult contemporary; one of which was recorded in the U.S., produced by Glen Ballard. Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Michiel Antonius Adrianus Beelen (born 25 May 1977 in Haarlem), better known as Giel Beelen, is a Dutch radio DJ and presenter, working primarily for public broadcaster VARA. Since 2004 Beelen hosted his own breakfast show ''GIEL!'' on national radio station 3FM. Remon Stotijn (born 27 December 1975), known professionally as Postman or The Anonymous Mis, is a Dutch rapper and record producer, who is a member of the band Postmen. Biography Remon Stotijn was born on December 27, 1975, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His father was Surinamese, his mother was Dutch and came from Rotterdam, the city he grew up in. ''Hotel New York'' is the fourth studio album recorded by the Dutch pop/ rock singer Anouk and released on December 3, 2004, in the Netherlands. The album is named for the location where Anouk wrote all its songs: Hotel New York in Rotterdam. Debuting at number one, the album was a major success, staying at that top spot for twelve weeks. "Hotel New York" remained on the Dutch albums chart for eighty-seven weeks, eventually going triple platinum. In Belgium, the album spent a week at number one and stayed in the top 50 for 72 weeks.
