Whittier Law School was a Law school in the United States, law school in Costa Mesa, California founded in 1966. The law school was part of Whittier College, a Private university, private institution. After several years being ranked among the poorest-performing law schools in the United States based on bar passage rate and job placement, Whittier Law School announced in April 2017 that it would no longer be admitting students and would discontinue its legal program, becoming the first law school with full accreditation by the American Bar Association (ABA) to shut down in at least 30 years.Since the school's closure, transcript requests are now handled by Whittier College. ''La Corte del Pueblo'' (translated ''The People's Court'') is a Spanish-language reality court show that originally aired on KWHY-TV in Los Angeles but later moved to Telemundo. The show was presided over by Cristina Pérez in its first season. When the show moved to Telemundo, Los Angeles-based lawyer Manuel Franco took over the bench. Mablean Deloris Ephriam, Esq. (born April 23, 1949) is a former Los Angeles prosecuting attorney. Florence-Marie Cooper (February 9, 1940 – January 15, 2010) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Early life and education Cooper was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and moved to San Francisco, California with her family in 1952. Cooper graduated from high school in 1958 and began working as a legal secretary. She attended night classes at City College of San Francisco for five years, but did not graduate from the school.
