''Whistle'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language slasher film directed by J. D. & Jerry, which is a remake of the American slasher film ''Urban Legend'' (1998). The film stars debutant Vikramaditya, Gayathri Raguram, and Sherin alongside Vivek, Divyadarshini, Livingston, Bhanu Chander, Mayuri, and Vaishnavi, among others, in supporting roles. Although the film was an average grosser, its music, composed by D. Imman, became successful. Vivek's comedy track is based on Mel Gibson's act in ''What Women Want'' (2000). Plot SJ Arts and Science college student Swetha get murdered in her car on a highway. No one has heard from her since. She had a group of friends from her college. Sujatha (writer)
S. Rangarajan (3 May 1935 – 27 February 2008), better known by his allonym Sujatha, was an Indian author, novelist and screenwriter who wrote in Tamil. He authored over 100 novels, 250 short stories, ten books on science, ten stage plays, and a slim volume of poems. He was one of the most popular authors in Tamil literature, and a regular contributor to topical columns in Tamil periodicals such as Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam and Kalki. He had a wide readership, and served for a brief period as the editor of Kumudam, and has also written screenplays and dialogues for several Tamil films. ''Sena'' is a 2003 Tamil-language crime film directed by Sujeeth. The film stars Sathyaraj, Aravind Akash and Charulatha while Anandaraj and Chandrasekhar play supporting roles. Prem Kumar Gangai Amaren (born 26 February 1979), better known as Premgi, is an Indian playback singer, composer, songwriter, actor and comedian. The son of composer and director Gangai Amaran, he often composes rap songs in Tamil cinema and is known for his comical performances in his elder brother Venkat Prabhu's films. Gopishantha (26 May 1937 – 10 October 2015), better known by her stage name Manorama, also called Aachi, was an Indian actress, playback singer and comedian who had appeared in more than 1000 films and 5000 stage performances and several television series predomninantely in the Tamil language until 2015.
