Westshore is a principal business district of Tampa, Florida, United States, with more than of commercial office space, 4,000 businesses with nearly 100,000 employees, 32 hotels, two major shopping malls ( International Plaza and WestShore Plaza) and more than 200 restaurants and bars. Westshore Boulevard is the district's main thoroughfare. Although mostly zoned for commercial use there is also some residential space in the area. The NEVs that circulate people around Tampa's urban corridor areas are starting to venture to International Plaza. The Westshore Business District includes Tampa International Airport, the headquarters of OSI Restaurant Partners (owners of Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, and other restaurant chains), and One Buccaneer Place, and the former team headquarters of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. WestShore Plaza
WestShore Plaza is one of two enclosed shopping malls located in the Westshore business district of Tampa, Florida, developed by Albert L. Manley of Boston, MA. WestShore Plaza was opened in 1967 and was touted as Tampa's first shopping center that was fully air-conditioned. WestShore houses many specialty shops including Francesca's Collection, LOFT, New Balance, H&M, Old Navy, Sunglass Hut, and more. The property is owned and managed by Washington Prime Group. The mall's anchors are JCPenney, flagship Macy's and Dick's Sporting Goods stores, and an AMC movie theater, with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears. Restaurants include P.F. Rocky Point is an area in Tampa Bay consisting of both areas within and around the city limits of Tampa, Florida. It is connected to mainland Tampa by the Courtney Campbell Causeway, which continues west across the bay to Clearwater.
