Albany ( ) is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia. Located on the Flint River, it is the seat of Dougherty County, and is the sole incorporated city in that county. Trenton Charles Thompson (born July 27, 1996) is an American football defensive tackle for the Vegas Knight Hawks of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at the University of Georgia. Thompson graduated from Westover Comprehensive High School in Albany, Georgia, where he earned All-USA Defensive Player of the Year honors by ''USA Today''. 2000 Oklahoma Sooners Football Team
The 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season, the 106th season of Sooner football. The team was led by Bob Stoops in his second season as head coach. They played their home games at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. During this season, they competed in the Big 12 Conference. The Sooners opened the season ranked #19, the first time they had made it into a pre-season poll in five years. After four early-season victories against unranked foes, Oklahoma had risen to #10 in the country. Beginning at the end of September, OU defeated #11 Texas (63-14), #2 Kansas State (41-31), and #1 Nebraska (31-14). The 2001 Orange Bowl, designated as the BCS National Championship Game, was a college football bowl game played to determine a national champion in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for the 2000 season. The San Jose SaberCats were a professional arena football team based in San Jose, California. ArenaBowl XXI was the 2007 championship game of the Arena Football League and was played at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, July 29, 2007. Troy Stanley Reddick (born December 12, 1983) is a former American football offensive lineman and personal trainer with John Charles' Air One Football Academy. He chose to sign with the Chicago Bears over the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2005.
