West Salem High School (also referred to as West Salem High, West Salem HS, or WSHS) is a public high school of the Salem-Keizer School District located in Salem, Oregon, United States. Academics In 2008, 82% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 339 students, 279 graduated, 29 dropped out, five received a modified diploma, and 26 were still in high school the following year. As of 2017, 1,732 students were enrolled at West Salem High School. At that time, its graduation rate was 89%. The 2017 class of 414 had 37 dropouts, and 87% of the class were graduating on time. Lampert graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Physics and pursued a PhD in Atomic Physics at Oregon State University before becoming a high school teacher. He attended Leslie Middle School in Salem, Oregon from 2004 to 07 and later graduated from West Salem High School in 2011. High school career During his senior year, Smith completed 65.7% of his passes for 2,146 yards and 27 touchdowns with five interceptions. He rushed for 855 yards on only 115 carries for 22 rushing touchdowns. He was named the First-team All-state for class 6A. In 2010, he was the Gatorade Football Player of the Year. Ryan Allen (born February 28, 1990) is an American football punter who is a free agent. He played college football for the Louisiana Tech University. Allen won the 2011 and 2012 Ray Guy Awards and was a consensus All-American in 2012. He was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Indoor Football League
The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. The Nebraska Danger was a professional indoor football team based in Grand Island, Nebraska, and a member of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
