West Jordan High School
West Jordan High School is a public high school founded in 1981. Located southwest of Salt Lake City in West Jordan, Utah, United States, it enrolls around 1,700 students. The men's varsity basketball team won the 2001 state championship, as well as the 2009 State championship against Lone Peak High School, the two-time defending champion. West Jordan is well known for its music program. It has one of the largest choir programs of any public school in the state. with a record enrollment of over 300 students. Jordan School District is a school district in the southwestern portion of Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It now employs 3,364 teachers and other licensed personnel who educate more than 57,800 students. An additional 3,092 employees provide support services for the system. West Jordan is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is a suburb of Salt Lake City and has a mixed economy. According to the 2020 Census, the city had a population of 116,961, placing it as the third most populous in the state. Lone Peak High School
Lone Peak High School (LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year. However, it has since been given a 6A status. The school mascot is a knight. Travis Todd Hall (born August 3, 1972) is a former NFL defensive end who last played for the San Francisco 49ers. He went to Brigham Young University. John Penisini
John Nau Penisini (born May 31, 1997) is an American football nose tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at Snow College before transferring to Utah and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Early life and college career Penisini was born in California to Tongan immigrant parents. He moved with his family to Utah when he was eight and graduated from West Jordan High School in West Jordan, Utah. Penisini began his collegiate career at Snow College. During his freshman season, he recorded 40 tackles, 6.5 tackles-for-loss, three sacks and a forced fumble. Following the season he was named an All-Western States Football League honorable mention.
