West Indian Cricket Team Against Afghanistan In India In 2019–20
The Afghanistan cricket team played the West Indies cricket team in India in November and December 2019 to play one Test, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. It was the first Test match that Afghanistan played against the West Indies. The two teams had played each other ten times before, with the majority of matches in the Caribbean, with this being Afghanistan's fourth Test match. All the matches were played at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Following the 2019 Cricket World Cup, where Afghanistan lost all of their matches, Rashid Khan was named as the new captain of the Afghanistan cricket team across all three formats. Rashid Khan Arman ( ps, ; born 20 September 1998) is an Afghan international cricketer and a former captain of the national team. In franchise leagues, he plays for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Adelaide Strikers in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL), Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and Band-e-Amir Dragons in Afghanistan's Shpageeza Cricket League. Yamin Ahmadzai
Mohammad Yamin Ahmadzai (born 25 July 1992) is an Afghan cricketer. Ahmadzai is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Laghman Province. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match, against India, in June 2018, and took Afghanistan's first wicket in Test cricket. Qais Ahmad Kamawal ( ps, ; born 15 August 2000) is an Afghan cricketer. He made his Test match debut for the Afghanistan cricket team in September 2019. Domestic career Qais Ahmad made his senior cricket debut for Kabul Eagles in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League in September 2017, before going on to make his first-class cricket debut for Speen Ghar Region in the 2018 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament in March the following year. The Bangladesh cricket team toured India to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against the Afghanistan cricket team in Dehradun. The ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings is an international Twenty20 cricket rankings system of the International Cricket Council. After every T20I match, the two teams involved receive points based on a mathematical formula. The total of each team's points total is divided by the total number of matches to give a rating, and all teams are ranked on a table in order of rating. According to the ICC website, "teams will need to play six matches against other teams in the previous three to four years to remain in the rankings table." Nitin Narendra Menon (born 2 November 1983) is an Indian cricketer and umpire. He was a right-handed batsman, representing Madhya Pradesh in List A cricket. The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup was the 12th Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament contested by men's national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
