Werner Müller (musician)
Werner Müller (2 August 1920, in Berlin – 28 December 1998, in Cologne) was a German composer, Kapellmeister and conductor of Western classical music. In some of his works he collaborated with Caterina Valente and Horst Fischer Horst Paul Silvester Fischer (31 December 1912 – 8 July 1966) was a German medical doctor and member of the SS who participated in selections in Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during World War II. Originally used to refer to somebody in charge of music in a chapel, the term has evolved considerably in its meaning and is today used for denoting the leader of a musical ensemble, often smaller ones used for TV, radio, and theatres. Caterina Valente
Caterina Valente (born 14 January 1931) is a French multilingual singer, guitarist, and dancer of Italian ethnicity. Valente is a polyglot; she speaks six languages, and sings in eleven. While she is best known as a performer in Europe, Valente spent part of her career in the United States, where she performed alongside Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Perry Como, and Ella Fitzgerald, among others. Career In 1955, she was featured on ''The Colgate Comedy Hour'' with Gordon MacRae. In 1958, she filmed the musical comedy ''Hier bin ich – hier bleib ich'' (''Here I Am, Here I Stay'') which featured a guest appearance by Bill Haley & His Comets. During Haley's segment, Valente sang a duet with Haley on a newly recorded version of his song "Vive la Rock and Roll". Horst Fischer (musician)
Horst Fischer (8 June 1930 – 21 March 1986) was a German trumpeter. Career Fischer was born in Oberhermersdorf. In the early 1950s, he was a member of Erwin Lehn's radio dance orchestra in Stuttgart. He also appeared with Willy Berking, RIAS Orchestra in Berlin under the direction of Werner Müller and with Kurt Edelhagen in Cologne. Especially his tours with Werner Müller were very successful. From 1971 he was under contract with the Radio orchester in Zürich. According to the American magazine ''Down Beat'' he was among the world's top trumpet players in the 1950s. He died, aged 55, in Cologne.
