As of November 2018, We The Best Music Group operates as an imprint of Epic Records. Khaled Mohammed Khaled (born November 26, 1975), known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, record producer and rapper. Khaled first gained recognition as a radio host in the 1990s on the radio station WEDR, 99 Jamz, and translated his popularity by working with hip hop collective Terror Squad (group), Terror Squad as a DJ for their live performances. After gaining production credits on the group's material, Khaled released his debut studio album ''Listennn... the Album'' in 2006, which earned gold certification. ''We the Best Forever'' is the fifth studio album by American disc jockey and record producer DJ Khaled. It was released under We the Best Music Group, Terror Squad Entertainment, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Universal Motown Records on July 19, 2011 instead of June 28, 2011. It is his first album to be released on a major label, his first four albums being released on the independent label Koch Records, which later changed its name to E1 Music.
