The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly. The mayor of Barlow is Michael Lundsten, as of the most recent election in 2018. History Barlow is named for William Barlow (Oregon), William Barlow, the son of Sam Barlow (Oregon pioneer), Samuel K. Barlow (developer of the Barlow Road). Samuel bought the donation land claim in which Barlow is located from Thomas McKay on September 17, 1850. He later sold the land to William. In 1870, the railroad was built through Barlow. The station was originally named Barlows (for William, not Samuel). As of 2003, the main line of the Union Pacific Railroad still ran through Barlow. Beavercreek is an unincorporated hamlet and census-designated place in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, located southeast of Oregon City. The population was 4,485 at the 2010 census. Demographics History According to ''Oregon Geographic Names'', the name "Beaver Creek" was first used for a school district in this area in the early 1850s. It was named for the creek that flows through the community and into the Willamette River. A post office operated under various names in the locality until 1922, when the name was changed to Beavercreek, the form still used today. Beavercreek's ZIP code is 97004. In the summer of 2006, the citizens of Beavercreek voted to become Oregon's first hamlet, a system of quasi-government which exists in Clackamas County, Oregon. Canby is a city in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. The population was 15,829 at the 2010 census. It is along Oregon Route 99E, northeast of Barlow. History Canby is named for Edward Richard Sprigg Canby, a Civil War general who was later killed in the Modoc War by Captain Jack and his group of warriors. The area was known as Baker Prairie when the community was founded in 1857. Canby was platted in 1870. Canby was incorporated by the Oregon Legislative Assembly on February 15, 1893. Mulino, Oregon is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, on Oregon Route 213 between the cities of Oregon City and Molalla. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 2,103. Demographics History The community was named after a flour mill erected there in 1851, when the community was known as "Howards Mill." "Mulino" is a corruption of the Spanish word ''molino'', or mill, and was chosen for the name when postal authorities objected that "Molino" was easily confused with nearby Molalla. The Mulino post office was established in 1882. As of 2007, the mill building, remodeled into a private residence, still stands.
