Wave 102
__NOTOC__ Wave FM was a radio station broadcasting to the cities of Dundee and Perth, Scotland. In June 2020 the Wave FM branding was removed and replaced by Pure Radio 'coming soon' messages. Pure Radio replaced Wave FM on 6 July 2020. The station broadcast a mixed music format 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and was founded as part of The Petros Radio Group which launched Discovery AM in 1994 and Radio Waves in 1995, followed by the award of a full scale ILR licence with the help of a consortium which also founded Kingdom FM in Fife with the assistance of IRG (The Independent Radio Group) When the station originally launched it was called Discovery 102, since Dundee is known as the City of Discovery after the RRS ''Discovery'', which is docked there. The brand name was changed to Wave 102 after The Discovery Channel stated that people would mistakenly associate the station with its network. Perth (Scottish English, locally: ; gd, Peairt ) is a city in central Scotland, on the banks of the River Tay. Kingdom FM is a radio station serving Fife. It is owned and operated by Dc. Thomson Media and broadcasts from studios at Elizabeth House in Kirkcaldy. The station broadcasts on five FM frequencies: 95.2 (Dunfermline and West Fife), 96.1 (Glenrothes, Central and East Fife), 96.6 (Kirkcaldy), 105.4 (St Andrews and 106.3 FM (the East Neuk). Fife

Original 106 is a radio station owned by Dc Thomson media and broadcasting to Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. It was initially owned by Canadian media company Canwest, and was awarded its broadcast licence (the last new commercial FM licence to be issued by Ofcom) in January 2007 and the station launched on 28 October 2007 at 1:06 pm, when the first record played was "Revolution" by The Beatles. On 12 September 2009 the station was sold to a consortium led by Adam Findlay which included John Quinn and Murray Strachan.
