Washington Urrutia Vistoso (born 16 August 1942) was a Chilean manager. Club career Urrutia was assistant manager of Luis Álamos (1960–1966), Alejandro Scopelli (1967–1968) and Ulises Ramos (1969–1972), being Universidad de Chile’s caretaker manager in 1968. Club Universidad de Chile () is a professional football club based in Santiago, Chile, that plays in the Primera División. Founded on 24 May 1927, Universidad de Chile is one of the most successful and popular football clubs in Chile, having won the league title 18 times. Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well. There are four clubs older than Wanderers in Peru and Argentina, but none of those started out as football clubs and all of their football branches started after 1892. Luis "El Zorro" Álamos Luque (25 December 1923 – 26 June 1983) was a football manager from Chile. Career He had a carrer as a forward with Universidad de Chile with Luis Tirado as coach, but Alejandro Scopelli turned him into a midfielder. álamos guided the national team at the 1966 and 1974 FIFA World Cup but was unable to advance from group stage on both the occasion. Alejandro Scopelli
Alejandro Scopelli Casanova (, ; 12 May 1908 – 23 October 1987) was an Italian Argentine football player and coach. A striker, he played for Argentina between 1929 and 1941, and competed at the inaugural 1930 FIFA World Cup. He also represented the Italy national football team on one occasion. Playing career Born in La Plata, Scopelli started his career in Argentina with Estudiantes de La Plata where he became part of the legendary side nicknamed "Los Profesores". In 1931 he scored 31 goals for the team but was beaten to the golden boot by team mate Alberto Zozaya's 33. In 1933 Scopelli moved to Italy where he played for Roma. Fabián Ulises Ramos Espínola (4 November 1919 – 13 August 2002) was a Chilean footballer and manager. Club career Ramos was born in Tocopilla in 1919 to a middle-class family. Ten years later, he alongside his family moved to the capital Santiago. He attended Instituto Nacional and once graduated of there, he entered to study dentistry at University of Chile in 1937. In 1939, he joined Audax Italiano to play professional football. After completing three goals in thirteen games with the ''Italics'' during that league season, Ramos joined the freshly founded football department of his alma mater in 1940. In his first season at Universidad de Chile, he was part of the team which reached the first league title of the football team. He remained at the team eleven years, retiring from football in 1951, completing a total of 217 matches and scoring 43 goals.
