Washington Arubi
Washington Arubi (born 29 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier Soccer League side Marumo Gallants. Career Club He started his career with Lancashire Steel for which he played 29 matches, before having spells with other Zimbabwean clubs Highlanders, Bantu Rovers and Dynamos. In 2012, Arubi joined South African Premier Division team University of Pretoria. He made 105 appearances in the league for Tuks before leaving in 2016. In February 2017, Arubi joined National First Division side Stellenbosch. Arubi signed for SuperSport United on a free transfer in summer 2018. He joined Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on a two-year contract in October 2020, where he was named vice-captain. Norton, Zimbabwe
Norton is a commuter town in the province of Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe near Harare. It is located about 40 km west of Harare on the main road and railway line connecting Harare and Bulawayo. Demographics According to the 1982 Population Census, the town had a population of 12,360. The National First Division (NFD), officially known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest league of South African club football after the South African Premier Division. Both the NFD and South African Premier Division are organised by the Premier Soccer League. The Cup of Zimbabwe (most recently known as the CBZ FA Cup due to sponsorship) is the top knockout tournament of the Zimbabwean football. It was created in 1962 as the Cup of Southern Rhodesia and was known between 1965 and 1980 as the Cup of Rhodesia. Due to sponsorship, the competition has undergone a number of name changes: from its creation in 1962 until 1998, the cup was known as the Castle Cup, after its sponsor, the Johannesburg-based Castle Lager. Castle also sponsored the Northern Rhodesian (Zambian from 1964) equivalent of the competition, which led to the creation of the "Super Castle Cup", played between 1962 and 1965 between the winners of the Southern Rhodesia Castle Cup and its Northern Rhodesian (from 1962 to 1964) or Zambian (in 1965) equivalent.
