Warwick Corvette
Warwick Corvette is a line of bass guitars manufactured by the German Warwick bass company. The Corvette is one of the most popular Warwick basses. Among the more distinctive Corvette players are Erlend Caspersen and Hansford Rowe. Despite its similarity in woods and aesthetics to the Thumb bass, it has a drastically different feel, tone, and ergonomics. It is one of the most distinctive Warwick basses. Corvette Proline Initially produced from 1992 onwards the first Corvette models were called Corvette Proline and made in Germany. Later these configurations became the Corvette Standard. The early versions had strap locks that were recessed into the body and two strap locks on the bridge side of the body. Wenge
''Millettia laurentii'' is a legume tree from Africa and native to the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. The species is listed as "endangered" in the IUCN Red List, principally due to destruction of its habitat and over-exploitation for timber. Erlend Caspersen
Erlend Caspersen (born 1982) is a Norwegian bassist who currently plays in Abhorrent and Igorrr. He also played for Deeds of Flesh, Spawn of Possession and Blood Red Throne. He is notable for his aggressive bass tone and highly technical playing, with a very varied range of techniques, including two-handed tapping, sweeping, and slapping. Biography Caspersen started playing bass when he was twelve; for his 12th birthday he bought his first bass (instead of a bicycle that he had originally intended) because a lot of his friends were in bands. He cited Victor Wooten, Les Claypool and Alex Webster as his biggest influences. Alex Webster cited him as the best death metal bass player of his generation.
