Warren Carter (basketball)
Warren Carter (born April 23, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Chorale Roanne Basket of the LNB Pro B. He played college basketball for the University of Illinois. Early life For 2 years of his early life and that of his brothers', his mother was in prison, serving a two-year sentence for felony burglary charges. High school career Carter attended Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas, where he was a two time All-State honoree. As a senior, he averaged 25.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game. College career In his freshman season at Illinois, Carter played sparingly. In 17 games, he averaged 1.2 points per game. Carter played in 33 games in the 2004–05 season when the Illini ranked #1 for most of the season, and ended as the NCAA runner-up to North Carolina Tar Heels. Chorale Roanne Basket is a professional basketball club that is based in Roanne, France. The club plays in the first division LNB Pro A. Their home arena is Halle André Vacheresse. The club was founded in 1937 and the team's colors are blue and white. History In Chorale's history, the team won two national titles; in 1959 and most recent in 2007. The 2006 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 65 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball as a culmination of the 2005–06 basketball season. Roger Powell Jr. (born January 15, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player and assistant coach for the Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team. He played collegiately at the University of Illinois from 2001–2005, after having attended Joliet West High School, with a 2001 graduation. Powell played the forward position for his high school and in college. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in speech communications. Powell's father was a former Joliet Central High School and Illinois State player. James Augustine (born February 27, 1984) is a retired American professional basketball player who played as a forward. During the career he played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini before being drafted 41st overall in the 2006 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. Later he relocated in Europe and concluded his playing career for Malaga. Augustine has played over 400 official games in different clubs. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the French basketball league system, 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France.
