Wangsa Maju (federal Constituency)
Wangsa Maju is a federal constituency in the Federal Territories (Malaysia), Federal Territories, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1995. The federal constituency was created in the 1994 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system. With over 13,000 people per sq km, Wangsa Maju has the highest population density among all parliamentary constituencies in Malaysia. The Election Commission of Malaysia ( ms, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia), abbreviated SPR or EC, is a commission set up for ensuring fair and equitable operations in undertaking the elections in Malaysia. Pakatan Harapan
The Alliance of Hope ( ms, Pakatan Harapan; abbrev: PH; stylized as HARAPAN) is a Malaysian political coalition consisting of centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. It has been the ruling coalition since November 2022 after it formed the coalition government with other political coalitions and parties as a result of the 2022 Malaysian general election, and after it won the 2018 Malaysian general election to February 2020 when it lost power as a result of the 2020 Malaysian political crisis at the federal level for 22 months. Tan Yee Kew
Datin Paduka Dr. Tan Yee Kew () (born 1953) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wangsa Maju from May 2018 to November 2022, for Klang from April 1995 to March 2008 and Parliamentary Secretary of International Trade and Industry from March 2004 to March 2008. Tan Kee Kwong
Dato' Dr. Tan Kee Kwong (; born 1947) is a Malaysian politician of Chinese origin. He served as a Member of Parliament for Wangsa Maju representing People's Justice Party (PKR) of Pakatan Harapan coalition between 2013 and 2018. Previously, he was the Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Gerakan) Member of Parliament for Segambut for three terms from 1995 to 2008 and was the deputy minister of Land and Cooperative Development from 1999 to 2004 in the Barisan Nasional (BN) federal government. People's Justice Party (Malaysia)
The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. The party was led by Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and increased its parliamentary representation from one seat to 31 seats in the 2008 general election, until the five-year political ban imposed on former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was lifted on 14 April 2008. Wee Choo Keong
Wee Choo Keong (; born 26 June 1953) is a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang from 1990 to 1995 and for Wangsa Maju from 2008 to 2013. Wee had been a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) before being expelled in 1998. He then went on to form the Malaysian Democratic Party (MDP) the same year.
